The "REAL" Rules

The Rules on the most of the links is set to show the "fake rules", the rules of the sport that the "fans" would no about. I put that there for 2 reasons.

  1. To emphasize that we don't run the kind of fed where the ref will be SO distracted that he won't see or hear Albert yelling, screaming and giving an Albert Bomb at the same time, and not disqualify someone. We go for realism - so keep that in mind in strats.
  2. To give that 'kayfabe' quality. The webpages of REAL wrestling websites don't have rules for handlers, or for new recruits, now do they? Once the backstage design is brought into effect, this will be much less awkward.

RULES

How many wrestlers per handler?

Three "slots" per handler. I say 'slots', because a tag team counts as one wrestler, even though they're obviosuly not. It could be three singles; two singles, and a tag, etc. Note; tag teams have to compete as exclusive tag teams, no singles allowed unless they earn the prez's permission over time. Singles wrestlers can tag as much as they want, and even if they're a legitamately ranked tag team. More slots can be earned through good roleplaying. Bottom line: If each man takes up half a slot, they're only tag wrestlers.

How about wrestler size?

Max Height Limit: 7'4" (in honor of the late Andre The Giant)
Max Weight Limit: 601 lbs.

Profanity Allowed?

If they don't say it on Raw or Nitro, don't say it here. If it's censored, and only implied, I couldn't give a f&%#.

And names?

I don't care if you try to use Austin, Goldberg, or any real wrestler. If you can roleplay as well as they can, go right ahead. Know right now though, that it's actually a minor handicap to use them, because it makes me wonder if you can actually create an original thought. But I know some people are just huge fans, so I'm flexible. Don't be Goldberg, and expect to kick everyone around, even though you don't say a word to anybody.

What about Stables?

Hey, I love em. Feel free to do absolutely anything you want as far as stables. But the more a fed gets taken over by another group, the more that fed does to fight back. Out of character, I don't care. "In character", I'll do a lot to protect my fed.

Are their weight classifications?

Yep. Over 200 is heavyweight, under it is middleweight.

What are your rules as far as titles?

Well, all this is VERY subject to change, but here's what I want to set up. There will be seven titles open for the taking once I get things rolling. There will also be two 'people's choice' titles, for the wrestler and stable earning the over a short amount of time.

Tier 1

  • Notorious Wrestling World Champion The big one. Any singles wrestler of any weight class can go for this one. The belt of the league's best wrestler overall.
  • Tag Belts. Self explanitory.

Tier 2
  • Heavyweight Belt. Only for those 200 pounds or over.
  • Middleweight Belt. Only for those under 200 pounds.
  • Hardcore "Throne" All weight classes open. All title defenses must be in a hardcore match of some kind. The league officials decide on the specifics of each match, but the champ does have some say, and if he's a good roleplayin champ, he has that much more say.

Note: The title isn't symbolized by a gold belt, unlike all the others. The champ gets an "ornately decorated" steel folding chair as his trophy, guaranteed to be legal in all matches in which he competes in (which will be quite an advatage, considering the Hardcore match rules can be much more complicated than merely "No DQ, falls-count-anywhere"

Tier 3
  • Wolf Pack Plaque (Stable Championship). Stable's compete in 'lowest common denominator' tag matches. (EX: stable#1 has six members, stable#2 has three. the match would have only three men a side.) Multiple refs will be around to try (note: I said 'try') to keep the numbers even, and the match fair. The plaque itself is made of solid steel, so it makes an effective weapon on the outside. Just don't get caught.
  • Breakthrough belt. The 'rookie's title'. Only elligible to those deemed as newcomers. More details further down the page.

Tier 4
  • People's Champion. Wrestler with most crowd support (positive push)
  • People's Stable Stable with the most overall positive push.

    Tiers????

The higher (lower in number) the tier, the more prestigious the championship. Tier 4 is more of a dubious, "fan's choice/vote in" honor type title. Like "The Pound for Pound" title in Boxing. Tiers 3 and 4 won't be activated until the second stage of the fed's size is met. The first stage is it's experimental size, 10 Heavyweights, 5 Middleweights, and 5 Tag Teams. Once it stays at that for a while, and I'm happy with the way things are progressing, I'll allow the fed to double in size. Once it reaches that size, I might lock everything down, as not to overcrowd the fed, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

The Breakthrough Championship is a most unique belt, and needs further explanation. After the extra tiers are activated, all the newcomers that join are automatically entered in a tournament for the Breakthrough title. Sort of a King of the Ring for the rookies. But, unlike King of the Ring, The crowned champ can defend his title afterwards. He has a total of five defense, after successfully completeing all of them, he is no longer a rookie, and must hand over the crown to the newer faces, for them to have a tournament. If the tourny winner loses the title, the new Breakthrough champ can also defend only five times before he "maxxes out" the belt, and forces another tournament. Maxxing out the Breakthrough title automatically earns a shot at the World title.
